Global Green Carbon Corporation Expands Operations in Central America - Opens Subsidiary in Nicaragua

Managua, Nicaragua – June 20th, 2011 – Global Green Carbon Corporation (“Global Green Carbon”, “GGC” or the “Company”) announced today that it has created a wholly-owned subsidiary Global Green Carbon- Nicaragua S.A. (“GGC-N”). GGC-N has been registered for incorporation under Nicaraguan law and will serve to facilitate the operations of Global Green Carbon’s numerous projects and business dealings within the country.

“The opening of our new subsidiary in Nicaragua is instrumental for Global Green Carbon’s commitment to developing projects that generate results across the GGC triple bottom line -- environmental, social, and financial”, commented Kirsten McGregor, President of GGC. “GGC- Nicaragua will provide a solid foundation for our growth within the region and will provide a legal framework for our projects which span upwards of 25 years.”
